Funds are allocated toward the First World Congress on Blind Navigation Technologies, to explore and document the state of the art of blind navigation technology that is likely to have a significant long-term impact. To be held at the National Federation of the Blind Jernigan Institute in Baltimore, MD in the fall of 2005, this event will include world experts in alternative perception and environmental literacy. It represents the culmination of four earlier regional seminars funded by NEC Foundation of America.
